Summer Guest Housing

Guest housing is available to any person with University-related business and prospective students and their parent(s). Accommodations are available June 1- August 10.

Reservations may only be submitted online. Reserve your room now.

** Guest housing is not available on campus for the month of July.

Minneapolis Campus (Centennial Hall)

Single Occupancy Rooms:
$46.00 (tax included) per night
one person maximum occupancy

Double Occupancy Rooms:
$68.00 (tax included) per night
two person maximum occupancy

** Please note: Centennial Hall only has single twin beds.

Reservations/Payment/Check in
All Summer Guest Housing visitors must have business at or with the University of Minnesota.  Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be received 5 days prior to check in.  All reservations are binding and will be billed for the entire amount if cancellation is not received 5 days prior to arrival.  Payment, for the entire length of the stay, is due upon arrival by check, cash, or money order in U.S. currency.  Credit cards are not accepted.  No refunds will be given for early departures.

Important reminder:  Guests who cancel a reservation more than 5 days prior to check-in will not be billed.

Check-in is at 2:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.

Dining/Parking

Guests who wish to eat in the dining service may purchase their meals from the dining room checker on a cash basis. For more information on University Dining Services call (612) 626-7626 or visit http://www.umn.edu/dining.

Parking is not included in the summer guest housing fee. However, we do offer parking passes for an additional fee of $6.00 per day. Please let us know if you want parking when you make your room reservation. Walk-in reservations for parking are not possible.
