SYE Community Members in Comstock Hall

Residents of the SYE Community will have the opportunity to engage with and serve the entire Comstock Hall community in a number of ways. SYE members may choose to mentor first year students in the building, simply be positive role models for first year students, or may be sought to participate in informational programming for first year students regarding successes and challenges of the first year.

SYE members will be encouraged to participate in the Comstock Community Council. Though some positions on the council were elected in Spring of 2007, many other Comstock Hall Community Council positions will be elected in first meetings in the Fall of 2007. These positions include:

• Hall Events Coordinator
• Facilities Chair
• Education/Cultural
• Newsletter
• Advertising Chair / Public Relations Chair
• University Dining Services (UDS) Representative
• Minnesota Student Association (MSA) Representative
• Residential Housing Association (RHA) Social Rep. (2)
• Residential Housing Association (RHA) Educational Rep. (2)
