Stephanie (CA)

Hello!! My name is Stephanie, your CA for the Second Year Experience (SYE) house. I grew up in Ithaca, Wisconsin. I am currently a third year student, majoring in Graphic Design and Photography. In my spare time I love to read. Besides reading, you will often see me taking pictures, going for coffee, taking walks, cooking, doing craft projects and swimming. During my second year I learned a lot about personal values and career goals, and am extremely excited to get to know everyone in the SYE house!

My name is Stephanie Brownlee. This is my first year at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities! I am originally from Illinois and received my Bachelors Degree in Theatre from a small Liberal Arts college near Springfield, IL. From there I moved to Mankato, MN and just finished my Master of Science in Education. I am coming from the Counseling & Student Personnel program with an emphasis in Student Affairs. One on one interactions with students are my favorite part of what I do and I'm really excited to continue working in Higher Education. In my free time you will probably see me with a camera in my hand. Photography is my favorite pastime!

Heather

Hello! I am Heather Jerabek, the Business Operations Specialist in Comstock Hall. Originally from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University. That summer, I moved to California where I taught 3rd grade on Fort Irwin Military Base. Although teaching was very rewarding, I missed my family and Minnesota. After six years, I packed up my car and moved back home. I knew that I still wanted to be involved in education; and I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with students in an educational setting as admirable as the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, I love being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
